Thank you for reserving your campsite at Stone Mountain Park Campground.
If the site number that we confirmed is not one of your three choices, in most cases your selections were not available, so we reserved a comparable site. If deemed necessary, Stone Mountain Park Campground reserves the right to change your site.
Check in time is after 2 pm and check out time is by 12 noon. If you do not check in by 2 pm the day after your scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited at that time. If you are checked in and leave without settling your account, the balance on your account will be applied to the credit card that is on file. If you decide to leave before your scheduled departure date, we will provide you with a "RAIN CHECK" for the unused days and is valid for one year - there are NO refunds for unused days. Pricing is based on occupancy of five (5) Guests on all sites. Additional guests are $5.00 per person/per night on red, purple, orange & blue RV sites - maximum 8 people total. Additional guests are $5.00 per person/per night on yellow & brown tent/popup sites - maximum 6 people total.
Cancellation Policy - We have a 5 day (120 hour) cancellation policy. You will receive a deposit refund less a $15 cancellation fee if your reservation is cancelled anytime prior to 5 days of your scheduled visit. Your deposit will not be refunded if the cancellation occurs less than 5 days prior to your scheduled visit (for prepaid packages, a $50 cancellation fee will apply). All cancellation requests MUST BE IN WRITING and faxed to 770-413-5082 or emailed to campground@stonemountainpark.com. Please note, if you made your reservation online, the $5 service charge is not refundable. Cancellations via phone messages WILL NOT be honored. Also, please note that Golf Cart deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you arrive after our Campground Office is closed, please complete the Registration & Receipt form that will be available to you outside the Campground Office (there is a night registration procedure posted for your reference).
There is an Entrance Fee to Stone Mountain Park of $10.00 per vehicle. When you turn in the gate ticket to the Campground Office you will receive a dated voucher to be displayed in the windshield of your vehicle that will give you unlimited access to enter and leave the Park as often as you like during your stay at the Campground. If you intend on having guests visit with you during your stay at the Campground, these guests MUST pay the Entrance Fee to Stone Mountain Park AND register at the Campground Office before proceeding to your campsite. You are allowed ONLY two (2) Entrance vouchers per campsite.
During certain times of the year, Stone Mountain Park Campground offers Campground Guests the opportunity to purchase a Two-Day Adventure Pass to Stone Mountain Park for the price of a regular One-Day Adventure Pass. These Two-Day Adventure Passes can ONLY be purchased at the Campground Office. If this is a confirmation for a Special Package, your (Package Specific) Passes and Coupons will be available for pickup at the Campground Office at check-in.
Warning: Please be aware that you will encounter a low clearance underpass with a minimum clearance of 12 feet if your GPS directions route you to the West Gate of Stone Mountain Park via James B. River/Memorial Drive . To avoid this low clearance underpass, you should enter the Park using the East Gate via Exit 8 on US78.
